Qatar National Library Launches Photography Competition: #QNLThroughMyLens
Are you a photography enthusiast living in Qatar? Do you have a passion for capturing the beauty of architectural design? If so, then the upcoming photography competition hosted by Qatar National Library (QNL) is the perfect opportunity for you to showcase your talent and creativity.
From August 1-15, QNL will be accepting submissions for their photography competition focused on capturing the architectural beauty of the library. Whether you prefer to photograph the external view or the internal courtyards, this competition encourages participants to explore unique perspectives and highlight the aesthetics of the library’s engineering and design.
To participate, you must be a resident of Qatar with a valid Qatar ID and be 18 years or older. Each participant can submit up to four photographs that focus on aspects of the library’s architecture. It’s important to note that photos must be original and taken by the participant at QNL, and photos generated by artificial intelligence are not permitted.
The quality of the photos is crucial, so make sure your images are high-resolution and of high-quality to allow for editing or color grading enhancements. Whether you use a phone or a professional camera, there are no limitations on the device used to capture the photos.
To enter the competition, simply publish your photos as a new post on Instagram during August 1-15. Remember to set your profile to public so that your entries can be viewed, and include the hashtag #QNLThroughMyLens in the caption to be considered a valid entry.
Judging will be based on the unique perspectives and creativity in composition, as well as the quality of the photo in terms of focus, lighting, and exposure. The winner will receive an iPhone 14 Pro and will be announced on August 18 (World Photography Day) on QNL’s social media channels. The winning photos will also be featured on QNL’s social media platforms.
